Lawn Bonding Process
1. Preparation before bonding
The bottom surface of the turf to be bonded, the non-woven fabric, the joint cloth, etc. shall be cleaned and the surface shall be dry and free of moisture.
The ambient temperature should be selected above 5 °C. It is not suitable to work under rain and rainy weather. Otherwise, the bonding time will be too long or even non-stick.
2. The specific construction process
Gluing: It is required to use a brush to apply a thick and even surface on the surface. Do not apply glue repeatedly, otherwise foaming may occur or even fall. The base fabric is coated with glue, and the thickness of the glue is strictly controlled. Note that the speed of the glue should be appropriate. When applying the glue, it should be applied to the two bonding surfaces to be bonded. Adhesive: According to the actual temperature, humidity, pressure and other conditions at the time, the effective control of the open time. Generally, within 10-30 minutes after the application of the glue, the glue reaches 890% dry and the hand is not sticky. A one-time alignment is required for bonding. Never move the bonded object back and forth after bonding.
Pressurization: After bonding, remove the surface debris, and use a special rubber hammer to hammer the two sides from the joint, so that the surface is fully contacted and dense, and the bonding is firmer.
Curing: The curing time is generally three days, and the final strength of the silicon is generally ten days. Therefore, it is necessary to pay close attention to the maintenance during curing to avoid excessive exposure, flooding and movement to achieve the bonding state of silicon.
3. After bonding, clean the turf cut pieces of the site before the quartz sand and rubber particles are scattered.
Within one to three months after the turf construction is completed, it is a stable period. During this period, the exposed grass can naturally cover the surface through normal movement, rain, temperature changes and other factors on the site, resulting in an unbiased surface. The filler will also be compacted and the drainage performance will gradually manifest; during this period, the uniformity and thickness of the filler should also be checked every two weeks for proper increase and decrease and adjustment of the flatness.
